Join us for a hands-on experience of growing native Scottish trees! This event is perfect for anyone who is interested in learning more about what is involved in growing trees.
We’ll share our knowledge and introduce you to:
- What our nursery does (and why)
- Scotland’s native trees
- Why they are important, and
- What it takes to grow a tree.
You’ll be able to get stuck in with sowing different kinds of tree seeds too. We will guide you through the process, sharing knowledge and answering any questions you have. The day will run from 10am to 3pm, covering lots of ground (bring a notebook!).
The event takes place in person at our tree nursery and will be outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Our only shelter is our unheated polytunnel. Basic facilities are available on site. A light lunch with teas/coffees will be provided. Please note there is no public transportation available to our site, so a car is needed.
